Hi!

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

My condolences and deepest prayers go out to those victims, families, and others that feel the pain that happened September 11, 2001.
The day that all Americans and perhaps the entire world will never forget.

My heart and soul go out to the passengers of:
American Airlines Flight 11 (which crashed into the World Trade Center's north tower)
United Airlines Flight 175 (which crashed into the World Trade Center's south tower)
American Airlines Flight 77 (which crashed into the Pentagon)
United Airlines Flight 93 (which crashed in Stony Creek Township, Pennsylvania)

My all out respect reach out to the passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 whom risked their lives to save the lives of others.

It sends an eerie feeling knowing that on Tuesday September 11, 2001, the date was also 911

September 11, 1941 Army engineers began building the Pentagon.
60 years to the date it takes a devastating strike.

Americans have joined together to unite as one.
Millions of dollars have been donated towards those in need after this attack.
Most blood donation centers have a back log of up to or over 2 weeks.
Where else in the world would you see this kind of strength?
The terrorists tried to break us, but all they did was unite us.

"Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings,
but they cannot touch the foundation of America.
These acts shattered steel,
but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve."
President George W. Bush
September 11, 2001

"May God have mercy on you,
because we won't!"
Senator John McCain

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

I myself am proud to be an American, during my life I have seen many tragedies.
I don't recall the death of President John F. Kennedy, but that was the first crisis.
We had the Vietnam Conflict, I had a brother whom participated in that.
We had the hostages in 1979 thanks to Iran.
Numerous acts of terrorism.
Operation Desert Storm which became Operation Desert Shield.
I could go on and on but all remains the same, throughout it all we as Americans remained strong.

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

I ask all of you, where ever you are
to join us in the prayers for the brave rescuers, and those who have passed.
I am asking all Americans to show your "American Pride"
Fly your flags if you have one,
Tie a red ribbon on your car antennae.
Support the proud nation we live in.

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

Friday September 14, 2001, a DJ at a local radio station said that he saw a homeless man
on his way into work that morning, that held a sign that said
I am not homeless
I live in America.

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

I pledge allegiance to the flag,
of the United States of America.
And to the republic for which it stands,
one nation under God,
with liberty, and justice for all.

I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN

In 1977 I became a member of the United States Navy Submarine Service

And Pride Runs Deep
It always has, and always will.

In October 1978 I was designated Submarine Qualified (SS) the proudest day of my life.
I was proud to be an American
I was proud to be included in the United States Naval Submarine Service

To show you my pride in the Naval Submarine Service, in the 20 years I served I only spent one tour as an instructor,
the remaining time was spent on the various submarines I was stationed on.
USS Patrick Henry (SSBN 599)
USS Blueback (SS 581)
USS Swordfish (SSN 579)
USS Indianapolis (SN 697)
